Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant

The Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant Program is managed through a partnership with the Government of Saskatchewan, Sask Sport Inc., SaskCulture Inc. and the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association Inc. and funded by the proceeds from the sale of Sask Lotteries products.  The grant program assists in the development of sport, culture and recreation programs by providing funds to non-profit community organizations.

 

 APPLICATIONS

All eligible community organizations are invited to apply.  Applications for the 2026-2027 Sask Lotteries Community Grant Program must be received by April 30, 2026. (Late applications will be not be accepted!)

PROGRAM CRITERIA

  • Expenditures must be directly related to the delivery of a sport, culture or recreation program.
  • Expenditures must occur within the grant period of April 1 - March 31.
  • Operation costs of the facilities that are directly related to the program are eligible for 25% of the total grant up to a maximum of $500.00.
  • Follow-ups verifying project expenditures must be submitted.
  • Organizations are responsible to ensure that appropriate liability and participants insurance are in place for events sponsored/funded by the Community Grant Program.
  • Groups receiving grants must publicly acknowledge Sask Lotteries within their activities

 

PROJECT REPORT
The Project Report Form provides additional information, as well as a list of ineligible expenditures. 

All grant recipients must submit a Project Report upon the project completion to townofkinistino@sasktel.net no later than June 15 of each year.  Failure to provide this report may result in the organization becoming ineligible for further funding.
